Plum Kettle, a ghostwriter for the publisher of one of the hottest fashion magazines in New York, struggles with his self-image and heads for a wild path of complicated self-acceptance. At the same time, everyone is full of news about men, accused of sexual abuse and assault, who disappear and face violent deaths.
